1. Use the iorad desktop tool to capture desktop apps such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Mobile devices, or any other non web based app.

  • Desktop apps: Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Other Homegrown Systems
  • Application Installs
    - Typically requires iorad to be run in administrator mode
  • Mobile Phone/Tablet Processes using a Screen mirror app
  • Processes that involve both browser & desktop actions**
     - Note: If a tutorial was captured using the desktop tool then it won't allow for sharing in the Extension/Widget *(unless surfacing through the Web Library in the Widget)
2. For your first time capturing with our desktop tool, iorad will provide the desktop install file if it detects its not installed already. To access the file, click on the Capture dropdown.

3. Click Desktop

4. If you don't already have it installed, it'll say "Get iorad desktop." However, since it's installed already, let's Click on Capture.

5. You can also grab the download file here if you want to re-install it later.

*Windows OS app is 32 bit but runs on both 32 & 64. Mac OS app is 64 bit.
