1. Once your NexTraq Connect credentials are enabled, you can view your assigned jobs in the NexTraq Connect mobile app. 

Click on the NexTraq Connect icon to view the Workday screen. 

2. The Today's Jobs task bar will display the number of Jobs that have been assigned to you. In this example, there are 9 Assigned Jobs. 

Click on Today's Jobs to view them.

3. The list of Assigned jobs will display along with the scheduled date and time of the job, unless there is No Scheduled Start Time assigned.  

Click on the Test job scheduled for Sat 5/16 5:00 PM.

4. Here you can view the location name or address and any notes entered.  You can either view Details about the job by clicking on Details,  or select the job by clicking on Select Job.   

Let's click on Select Job.

5. The job status has been updated to Accepted. 


6. To view more information about the job, click on Details.

7. Here, you will be able to enter information in any Custom Fields created by the NexTraq Admin. 

In this example,  Freon was entered in the EQUIPMENT USED custom field, and Using 33mm connector hose was entered in the TECHNICIAN NOTES custom field.

8. You can also view the job location overview map, ETA, expected travel time from your current location, job address, and any notes entered by the Admin. when they created the job.

9. To update your job status to show that you are on the way, click on Change Status.

10. Click on En Route.

11. To open up a map display with directions to the job, click Navigate.

12. Clicking Start will begin your drive.  

To navigate back to the Job Details screen, click on the Left Arrow symbol  on the upper left of the screen.

13. If the location was Geofenced in the NexTraq platform, the job status would change to Arrived when the address is reached.
For this example, click Change Status to update the status manually.

14. Click on Arrived.

15. You can view job status changes by clicking on Notes on the Job Details screen.

Click on Notes.

16. Here you see all of the status changes related to this job. 

If the NexTraq account has the Verify add-on feature enabled, you will have the option to capture Photos of the job and capture a customer's signature.  

Click on Photos.

17. Each Photo Capture icon will allow up to 10 pictures to be taken. 

To take a picture of the work that was done, click on Capture 6 

18. You can select Choose Photo to upload a stored picture, or Take Picture to use the camera on your device to take a picture of the work you have done.

Click on Take Picture.

19. Click OK to take the picture.

20. Click on Enter caption here... and Type "Service needed on larger".  

21. To save the photo of the job, click on Save..

22. The photo is now viewable on both your device and the NexTraq platform.

At this point, the you can also add Notes about the job. 
                                                             Click on Notes.

23. Click on the Text Box, and type "Filled with freon, unit running fine".

24. To save the notes to the job, Click on Save.

25. If the job address was Geofenced on the NexTraq platform, the status would update to Finished automatically when you drove away from the job site.

Let's manually update the status to Finished by clicking on Change Status.  

26. Click Finished.

27. The job status has now been updated to Finished on both your device and the NexTraq platform.

28. If the Verify add-on feature is enabled, you can capture the customer's signature. 

This will allow the customer to sign your screen. 

Click on Signature.  

29. The person signing can simply use their finger to sign their name.  This signature will be visible on the drivers device and can be viewed on the NexTraq platform.

Let's take a look at an example.

30. If the person does not like the way the signature looks, you can use the clear button to clear the screen and let them sign again.

To save the signature, click on Save.

31. To return to the Workday main screen, click on the Left Arrow symbol on the upper left side of the screen.

32. Today's Jobs on the Workday screen now shows the job as completed.  This status will also be updated on the NexTraq platform.

33. Well done!  You have completed a job using the Connect app.
