1. This is the main Garmin screen.  

To view messages and jobs sent to you, click on Dispatch

2. Here you can tap an icon to open My Stops, Messages, Find Location, and Driver Info (User Name).  The other icons are not used.

First let's take a look at a Route sent to the Garmin. Click My Stops

3. When a Route is received, it displays in the same A, B, C order that the route was created in, on the NexTraq Platform.

The next slide will show you how a single job that is sent to the Garmin looks.

4. A single job has just been sent by the dispatcher.

When the new job is received, a Flag icon will display.  You can view the new job by tapping My Stops or by tapping the Flag icon.
Click on the Flag icon to view the new job.

5. Individual jobs received are listed in the order they were sent.  Completed jobs will display a check mark beside them.  Jobs you are En Route to will have an arrow next to them. 

The distance and general direction of the job location is displayed.

6. Any message entered when the job is created, will display when the job is selected. If the message does not include the address, the driver will not see the address, only the drive directions. 

To start the next job, click on "This is a Garmi...".

7. The full message to the driver will display.  Had the job address and name been added to the message when the job was created, that additional information would display here.

To edit or start the job, click on the Hamburger icon.

8. The Edit Stop option will take you to a menu where you can either mark the job as done, or delete the stop.

To view this menu, click on Edit Stop.

9. Mark as Done should only be selected when the job has been completed.  Delete Stop will remove the job from the Garmin and update the job status on the NexTraq platform to Rejected.

To return to the job message screen, click the Back Arrow.

10. To start this job, return to the Edit Stop/Go menu.

11. To start the job with turn by turn directions, click Go!

12. The map will display and the Arrive in time will show.  In this example the driver should arrive at the job in 34:05 minutes.

Click the Hamburger icon to view other map view options.

13. You can view the directions with the estimated Arrival Time displayed.

Click the + icon next to Arrival Time to see that map view.

14. The Arrival time now displays as a Time instead of the number of minutes to arrive.

Click the Hamburger icon to select another map view.

15. You can choose a map view that displays the number of miles to the job.

To see that map view, click the + icon next to Destination Distance.

16. The map now displays the number of miles to the job location.

17. You can also choose a map view that displays the compass direction the job is at in relation to your current location.

To view the compass direction, click the + icon next to Direction.

18. The map now displays the compass location of the job in relation to your current location.

This job is located South of you.

19. If you receive an incoming message, an envelope icon will appear on the screen.  

To read the message, click on the envelope icon.

20. You will see who sent the message and the time it was sent.

21. The full message will display.

To reply or delete the message, click on the Hamburger icon.

22. To view the reply options, click on Reply.

23. The reply options are Use Keyboard or Use Quick Message.

To view the keyboard, click on Use Keyboard.

24. Here you can use the keyboard to type a response. 

Once you type your message, selecting Done will display "Send message?" and the option to select  a "Yes" or "No" button.

To return to the Reply Options screen, click on the Return Arrow.

25. You can also respond using the quick message option. Quick messages are preset responses that have been set up in the NexTraq  platform by the administrator.

Let's look at the preset messages.  Click on Use Quick Message.

26. The NexTraq administrator can set up quick messages like Yes, No, Call me, etc.  Let's reply to the message your received with "OK". 

Click on OK.

27. You can Edit Quick Messages. The Edit option will open the keyboard so that you can type more information.

To send the Quick Message without editing it, click on Yes.

28. The envelope next to the message will display an up arrow to confirm the message was sent.

To delete all messages on the screen, click on the Hamburger icon.

29. You can cancel your action or continue to delete all messages by clicking on Delete.

30. You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete all messages.

Let's click No to return to the messages screen.

31. To delete just one message, select the message to display it.

Click on From Bob:...

32. To delete this message, click on the Hamburger icon.

33. You can either Cancel or Delete.

To delete this message, click on Delete.

34. You will be asked to confirm your request to delete the message.

Click on Yes.

35. The message is now removed.

To return to the main Message Screen, click the Return Arrow.

36. The Message screen will allow you to create new messages, send quick messages, view your inbox, and view your sent messages.

To view your Inbox, click the Inbox icon.

37. Here you can view messages that have not been deleted and based on the icon determine if the message has been opened or a reply sent.

To return to the Message screen, click the Return Arrow.

38. To view your sent messages, click the Outbox icon.

39. The Outbox will display messages the you have sent from the Garmin.  You will see the date and time the message was sent.  An opened envelope means the dispatcher has opened your message.

To return to the Message screen, click the Return Arrow.

40. To return to the Dispatch Menu, click the Return Arrow.

41. The Find Location option will allow you to search for specific addresses, find locations, etc.

To view the options available on the Find Location screen, click Find Location.

42. Here a driver can find nearby Gas Stations, Restaurants, or search for a specific address.

To return to the Dispatch screen, click the Return Arrow.

43. To view Driver Info, click the Driver Info icon.

44. The Driver Information screen will display the Driver ID that is set on the NexTraq Platform.  The Driver Status is not editable by the driver.

To return to the Dispatch screen, click the Return Arrow.

45. To return to the Main Garmin screen, click the Return Arrow.

46. The View Map icon will bypass the dispatch screen and go directly to the Ready to Navigate screen.

To view the Ready to Navigate screen, click on View Map.

48. Here you would click on the job to start navigation to the job.

To return to the Ready to Navigate screen, click on the Return Arrow.

52. The Apps icon on the main screen opens a number of applications.  Not all of the applications are available for use.

To view the Apps page, click the Apps icon.

53. The Help option will display information about how to install Map updates, and other Garmin Specific help information.

Click the Help icon to view the help screen.

54. You can use the magnifying glass to search the Help topics.

To go back to the Apps Screen, click the Return Arrow.

55. Backup Camera, ecoRoute, and Trip Planner will not be used by the driver.  

The Traffic option will display traffic and re-route a driver if there is a quicker route.

This option is only available if the Garmin is equipped with a Traffic Cable.

56. The Where I've Been App allows you to view a record of the device's travel history.  It will display your routes on the map as well as places you've stopped at for 15 minutes or longer.

To see the display, click Where I've Been.

60. Here you can also set the display information including the icon text and keyboard language for non English speaking drivers. Dispatch job messages will still display in English.
