1. The first step is to open My Drive

2. Click My Drive to view your folders and documents.

3. Click Shared drives to view all shared drives

Files in Shared Drives are not owned by an individual

4. Click Shared with me to view documents or folders that have been shared with you

5. Click the settings cog to access Drive settings

6. Click Settings

7. Scroll down and select Convert Uploads

This will convert MS files to Docs editor format

8. Scroll down and click to allow offline editing

9. Click Install to add the Google Docs Offline extension to your chrome browser

10. Click here to change density of your drive (just like in Gmail)

11. Choose your preference

13. In Suggestions, select to make relevant files handy at the top of your Drive (Quick Access)
Surface important people and files
Make Priority the default homepage in Drive

14. Click to turn features on or off

16. Choose your preferences and click Done

17. We now have Quick access on

19. Scroll down to Workspaces and click Create

20. Name your workspace

23. Scroll over and click search

24. Type Search term in Drive and Press Enter

25. Click to add a document to your workspace.

These documents can be housed in any Drive location, including Shared Drives

26. Click Insert 1 item

29. Type Search in Drive and Press Enter

30. Select more files

31. Click to select multiple files

Workspaces can hold up to 25 files

35. Scroll down to a workspace and click 3 dots

36. Click Remove workspace

38. With your mouse, hover 3 dots again

40. Scroll left and click Shared drives

41. Click to open the Shared Drive

42. Click down arrow to access Shared Drive settings

43. Click Manage members

44. Click Add people and groups

45. Type  people

46. Select new member

47. Click Content manager to change permission

48. Click to choose role

49. Click Send

50. Click down arrow again
