1. The first step is to open your Inbox - and click the check box on the left of a selected email

2. Now Click Labels
|
3. Click to select an existing label.then click apply
|
4. Click Labels again to add to a second label
|
5. Scroll down and click Create new
|
6. Click Please enter a new label name:
|
7. Type label name and click create
|
8. On the left sidebar, find your new label and click more (3 dots) to change the label colour.
|
9. With your mouse, hover over the arrow
|
10. Click the arrow
|
11. Click to select your chosen colour
|
12. You can now see the coloured labels on the email. Now Click More to create a filter
|
13. Click Filter messages like these
|
14. Choose your fields, such as an email address, specific words etc and Click Create filter
|
15. With your mouse, hover and select your chosen options. For example, you can get email to skip your inbox.

16. Click Apply the label:
|
17. Click the arrow to choose a label
|
18. Scroll and click an existing label or New label if required
|
19. Type a new label name:
|
20. Click Create
|
21. Click Never send it to Spam
|
22. Click Categorise as:
|
23. Click primary to ensure these emails go to your main inbox
|
24. Click also apply filter to matching messages. This will apply the filter to email you have already received without you having to do any of the work!

25. Click create filter
|
26. Back in your Inbox, Click the checkbox
|
27. Click Archive to remove it from your inbox list.

28. Scroll down and click Joe Dale and you will find that email here.
|
29. Click External Webinars and you will also find it here
|
30. Click Edpuzzle and you will also find it here
|
31. That's it. You're done. You're now able to create labels and filters to organise your emails and stay on top of your inbox.
