1. Visit nytimes.com/passes and click Create Account

2. Click Continue with Google

3. Choose your Beaver Google account

4. Click Continue

5. Go to your inbox and click the confirmation link

6. Click Sign Up

7. Academic Passes are good for one year. Click Set a Calendar reminder to renew to add a renewal reminder to your calendar

8. Change the name of the event, and add the nytimes.com/passes link to the location. Click Save

9. Return to the confirmation page and click Get Started

10. Click Get started

11. Choose a newsletter to subscribe to, or click Maybe later

12. Enter your cell phone number to get a link to the New York Times app, or click No, thanks. Back to reading.
