1. You'll need a Padlet account (it's free for up to 3 Padlets). The first step is to open Log in to Padlet and click Continue |
2. Click Log in

3. Click Make a padlet

4. Click Select under "Timeline."

5. Type a Title
|
6. Type a Description
|
7. Scroll down and Click the arrow next to Wallpaper
|
8. You can choose an existing Wallpaper, or you can add your own Wallpaper. In this example, Click Add your own wallpaper. |
9. Click Upload

10. Click Pick file
|
11. Once you've picked a Background, Click Back
|
12. Click Back to return to your Padlet.

13. To change the Font, choose one of the options. In this example, Click Thames |
14. With your Padlet designed, Scroll up and click Next
|
15. Click Start posting

16. To add your first timeline date, Click the create icon
|
17. Type a Subject for this entry.
|
18. Click the 3 horizontal dots to see your options for media to add to this card.

20. In this example, Click GIF
|
21. Type your Search and Press Enter
|
22. Click the GIF you want to use.

23. Type Add a caption for your GIF
|
24. Type a description for this card.

25. Click Publish

26. This card has been added to your Padlet timeline. To add your next card, Click create |
27. I've added a few more cards, and now I've just added my last card. So I'll Click Publish to add this last card to my Padlet. |
28. However, notice that this card in the Padlet is out of order. With your mouse, click and drag the 1860s card, then drop it on the place where you want it to appear. |

30. To add this Padlet to the Group Padlet, do not use the URL in the address bar. Instead, Click Share |
31. Click Copy link to clipboard

32. Return to the 21st Century Teacher lesson, and Click create
|
33. Click link

34. Press shortcut - Ctrl + v - in the field to paste the link saved on your clipboard of your individual Padlet.

35. Click forward
|
36. Type the Subject of your Padlet.
|
37. Type the description of your Padlet.
|
38. Click Publish
|
39. Your Padlet will then appear here with everyone else's. That's it. You're done. |
