OAKS Discussions: Require Students to Post First Before Reading and Replying to Other Threads

1. To require students to start a Thread before they can read and reply to other Threads, click Communication (next to Content on the Navbar).

2. Click Discussions (the last option on the drop-down menu).

3. Click the down-arrow next to Topic.

4. Click Edit Topic (the third option on the drop-down menu).

5. Scroll down and click Users must start a thread before they can read and reply to other threads.

6. This option cannot be selected alongside the "Allow anonymous posts" option.

7. Click Save and Close (blue button).

8. That's it. You're done!
