1. The Question Converter allows you to convert a text document of quiz questions and answers into a specially formatted CSV file you can import directly into the OAKS question bank.
To start, open the Course Homepage and click Grades.

2. Click Quiz Question Converter

3. To see how the questions need to be formatted for conversion, click View Question Formatting Instructions.

4. Click each type of question to see how they should be formatted.

5. When you have reviewed each question type, click Close

6. To download a text file of each type of question with it's formatting, click Download Sample Question Text File.

7. Once your questions are formatted correctly, click the Text Box and Paste the text into the box.

8. Scroll down to make sure all your questions pasted correctly. Click the Text Box to set the Default Point Value for each imported question.

9. Click the Text Box to set the Default Value for each imported question.

10. If you used enumeration with your answers, click Remove enumeration from answers, so shuffled answers aren't confusing to learners.

11. When finished click Convert. This will cause a CSV file to download to your computer.

12. To import the questions into the Question Library, click Grades

13. Click Quizzes

14. Click Question Library

15. Scroll down and click the correct Section or File of where you want to import the questions. Create a new section if needed.

16. Click Import

17. Click Upload a File

18. Either Drag and Drop the file from your Downloads File or click Browse to find and upload the file.

19. Once the file automatically uploads, click Import All

20. Scroll down to make sure all your questions imported.
That's it. You're done.
