In Oria you can search for books, scientific articles and much more. Both in paper and electronic versions.

5. To search in Oria, just enter your text into the search field.

A simple search works best when you know the title of the book you're looking for, or if you know the author's name.

You can also use Oria to explore the literature using keywords.

6. For this example, let's look for literature on how to write a scientific paper.

Type your keywords into the search field.

7. Click the button Search in Oria to execute the search.

8. You will be presented with a list of results that match your search.

The list contains many results and a variety of resources, but mainly articles and books.

9. If what you are looking for is hard to find on the results list, you can narrow down the search using filtering options on the right.

You can filter results by resource type, language or year of publication.

10. You can also search beyond the UiB collection, by changing the Bergen University Library setting (search scope) in the search field.

11. Books that are not available at UiB can be ordered via Oria. They will then be borrowed from other libraries.

Change the setting to
Norwegian Academic Libraries to include material from other norwegian libraries in your search scope.
