OAKS Discussions: Require Students to Post First Before Reading and Replying to Other Threads

1. To require students to start a Thread before they can read and reply to other Threads, click Communication (next to Content on the Navbar).

2. Click Discussions (the last option on the drop-down menu).

3. Click the down-arrow next to Topic.

4. Click Edit Topic (the third option on the drop-down menu).

5. Click Post & Completion (the second box on the right).

6. Click Learners must start a thread before they can view or reply to other threads.

7. Scroll down and click Save and Close (blue button).

8. That's it. You're done.
