How to create branch decisions in Articulate Storyline 360
This tutorial shows how to create a branched learning experience in Articulate Storyline 360.
Branches allow your learners to explore different information in your experience based on an interaction. Branches can be triggered by any number of interactions, but in this instance we'll show how to allow the learner to choose their branch options directly with a click.

Click the right-arrow below to begin.
2. Branching scenarios require preparation. In this instance, we've made a choice between running left and running right.

With your scenario choices setup, click on the first object you want to use to trigger a branch.

3. With your object selected, click Create a new trigger

4. Because we clicked the object first, the "When" has been automatically loaded. Notice the logic: "When the user clicks Running Left." This begins the trigger for the branch.

5. The Trigger Wizard has also predicted we will want the user to Jump to slide, so we only have to click on the Slide dropdown to pick where

6. Click 1.2 Run Left

7. Click OK

8. Click on the second object you want to use to trigger a branch.

9. Click Create a new trigger

10. Click on the Slide dropdown to pick where this branch will jump

11. Click 1.3 Run Right

12. Click OK

13. That's it. You're done. Your slide will now branch to one slide or the other depending on which object is clicked.
