1. The first step is to open AI Voice Generator & Text to Speech | ElevenLabs and click in the text field.

2. In the Text field type the following syntax - <break time="1.0/s" /> in the location where you want a pause. Click in the Text field.

3. Click Generate
|

4. You can adjust the break time up to 3 seconds. Click Generate
|
|
5. There is another option for inserting a pause in the text. You can type a dash, or multiple dashes in the location of the pause. Click in the Text field. |

6. Click Generate
|

7. That's it. You're done.
