1. The first step is to open Classwize and click on your class tile

2. Click Class Tools

|
|
3. Click Focus

|
|
4. Click Create Focus

|
|
5. Click here to save this focus session if you will use these websites regularly

|
|
6. Click Name*

|
|
7. Type your focus session title

|
|
8. Click Paste a website URL or search for applications

|
|
9. Paste a website URL or search for applications

|
|
10. Click to select an application and add it to the allow list

|
|
11. When you add a resource, it will default to automatically open the next time the student is logged on. To change this, click here under "Open tab"

|
|
12. Once you have finished selecting resources, click Select Students to move onto the next step

|
|
13. By default, the focus session will apply to all students. To change this, click here to deselect "All students"

|
|
14. Click the checkbox to select students you would like to be in a focus session

|
|
15. Once you have finished assigning students, click Preset Focus

|
|
16. Click Start Class to begin monitoring

|
|
17. Click to set the class end time

|
|
18. Click Start

|
|
19. Click X to end focus. Students will remain in a focus session whenever class begins if you do not end the focus session

|
20. That's it! Begin creating your focus sessions in Classwize!
