1. Click people

2. Click Pay Profile

3. click the search bar and type the name of the employee you are making changes for.

4. Click the name of the selected employee

|
|
5. to update pay, click regular pay

|
|
6. choose the effective date of the pay change - try to align with the first day of a new pay period if possible.

7. Select the reason for the change - P R O for promotion. A D J for a market adjustment.

|
|
8. Enter the per pay period amount.

|
|
9. If applicable - for instance an employee is changing from hourly to exempt. Enter 80 for the standard hours worked in a pay period.

10. Click Save

|
|
11. Click People

|
|
12. Click Employment Profile

|
|
13. click edit to update title, role and manager

|
|
14. Enter the effective date of the new position under job title select the new role

|
|
15. Enter the effective date of the new position

|
|
16. Select the new role from the drop down. And check if the role is a management position.

|
|
17. Click on manager to update the manager, if applicable.

|
|
18. Select effective date and new manager, if applicable.

|
|
19. Click edit and select new manager under Time and attendance, if applicable.

|
|
20. Click edit and update the department, if applicable.

|
|
21. Select the effective date and appropriate department, if applicable.

|
22. Remember to sync the changes with ClearCompany and notate the new rate of pay in the payroll notes! You have updated all the things!
