1. In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to add effects between video clips in DaVinci Resolve to enhance your video with visual styles.

2. In the top menu, locate and click on the “Effects” tab to open the list of available video effects.

3. You’ll be working with Video Effects only. In this panel, you’ll see a variety of effects you can apply to your clips.

4. Click to select the video clip you want to apply an effect to.

5. If you hover your mouse over an effect, you’ll see a preview of how it will look before applying it to your clips.

6. Do not use Adjustment Clip or Fusion Composition for now. These are advanced tools and won’t be needed in this week's work.

7. With your mouse, click and drag the effect you want to use, then drop it onto your clip in the timeline to apply it.

10. Click the Play button to preview your new effect.

11. Select your other video clips and experiment with different effects to see how they change the look and feel of each one. Apply effects using the same steps as before.

12. Remember that you can apply multiple effects to each video clip to create more complex and interesting visuals.

13. Explore the available effects and experiment to see how each one transforms your video. Don’t be afraid to try different combinations!

14. To remove an effect, click to select the video clip on the timeline.
|

15. Open the Inspector panel located on the right-top corner.
|

16. Click Effects.

17. Locate the effect you want to remove, then click the trash can icon next to it to delete it from the clip.

18. The effect should now be removed from your clip.

19. Go to the top-right corner of the screen and click Quick Export. Click to select the H.264 Master option. Click Export.

20. Choose the folder where you want to save your video. Then, rename the file (e.g., "Video-4") and click Save. If you're unsure about this step, ask your teacher for help before continuing. |

21. Wait for the export to finish. Since your project includes multiple videos, transitions, and effects, the process may take a bit longer than before.

22. That’s it—you’re done! Now, try creating a video where you experiment with multiple consecutive clips, adding different transitions and effects to explore what you’ve learned.
