1. In this tutorial, you’ll start by setting up your workspace for animation in Krita to make sure all the essential tools are easily accessible.

2. Step 1: Go to the top menu and click on Window to access workspace options.

3. Hover over Workspace, then click to select Animation to load the animation-friendly layout.

4. Step 2 : Go to the top menu and click on Settings.
|

5. Hover over Dockers, then click on Advanced Color Selector. This will add the color selection panel to your workspace.

6. Step 3 : Go to the top menu and click on Settings. Hover over Dockers, then click on Brush Presets to add that panel into your workspace.

7. In this workspace, your Palette Picker and Layers panel are on the left, while the Advanced Color Selector and Brush Presets are on the right.

8. You’ll also see a new panel: the Animation Timeline, which is essential for controlling and organizing your frames over time as you animate.

10. The Animation Settings menu lets you set the total number of frames in your animation and adjust the frame rate. The frame rate is the number of images (frames) shown per second in your animation, which affects how smooth the motion appears. |

11. Click to set the Clip End value to 10 frames—this defines the total length of your animation.

13. Click to set AutoKey Blank.

14. In the Animation Timeline panel, this section lets you navigate through your frames. The numbers represent each individual frame in your animation.

15. In the Animation Timeline panel, this section lets you play or stop your animation, so you can preview how it looks in motion.

16. In the Animation Timeline panel, this section lets you adjust the playback speed of your animation by changing the frame rate.
